Are you and your
friends waterfowlers? Mike Bachelder will guide two types of
waterfowl hunts this fall.
Au Sable River float trips. These trips feature jump shooting
ducks and geese through the open season or until the birds have
migrated south. Cost is $150 per gun, minimum two guns.
Big water shooting on Houghton Lake for ducks. Mike has a large,
comfortable, semi-permanent blind on this great duck lake and
scads of professional decoys to compliment his vast experience.
You can expect a mix of divers and puddle ducks on these hunts.
Cost is $150 per gun, minimum two guns, maximum three guns.
Mike will provide lunch and non-alcoholic beverages (no alcohol
allowed before or during these hunts). You must bring your own
gun, non-lead shells, outerwear, personal items, and appropriate
license and migratory bird stamps.
Transportation to the river or lake and guide gratuities are not
included in the fee.
For grouse and woodcock hunters, we can refer you to local
guides and help direct you to some good covers. Bird numbers are
good and getting better in our area. Stop in the shop for
current information. We can help you plan a cast and blast.
